Jukbuin
Project: Jukbuin non-linear Meshing
Date: March 2011
Academic: Smartgeometry 2011 Copenhaguen
Collaborators: P.Tornabell
Acknowledgments: D.Piker, R.Cervellione, A.Payne, A.Bassaganyes
Abstract:
Structural Research on Lightweight structures and optimization.
During SG in Usetheforce cluster, our research turned around bending material properties through weaving techniques, and remeshing optimizations processes, for lightweight and joint-free structures. With Pep Tornabell.
Non-regular mesh topology solved with circle packing on surface technique using Kangaroo by Daniel Piker.
Jukbuin weaving technique inspired by Shigeru Ban Architects.
