Abstract: the project is located on Jianguo West Rd , in the foresty heart of French Concession, Shanghai, and comprises two commercial buildings with a 100sqm courtyard in between. The front building is a 1930s modern building while the rear building is 1980s. The project explores the new identity and conexion beetween the two buildings through an sculpted green climbing garden.
